Underground Fiber

Dark Fiber Leasing Services allow telecom operators a virtually unlimited capacity / scalability and full control of their network, with the benefit of substantially lower cost than self-build. Dark fiber also assures the highest level of security since it is dedicated to each telecom operator’s own use. Through our multi-tenanted dense underground fiber network, we are able to provide critical connectivity to telecom operators’ endpoints.

  • CloudExtel has deployed more than 200+ kms of underground fiber across South Mumbai, largely leveraging the parent company, BGCL’s, cast-iron pipelines. Since the most of the fiber is laid inside cast-iron pipelines, under footpaths / bridges, it is thus very secure. CloudExtel is also aggressively expanding its underground fiber network in other geographies
  • We have built this underground fiber with high fiber counts (fiber pairs) which are leased to its customers for increasing demand due to digitization

Overhead Fiber Connectivity (OHFC)

CloudExtel provides customized fiber connectivity solutions to Telecom operators to connect high capacity traffic nodes in their networks (metro core connectivity) or to provide fiber solutions to their customers such as Data Centres (DC-DC high-capacity links), Large / SME Enterprises (Last Mile Connectivity) and Smart City Projects.
